QUOTES FROM THE SEAWOLVES
"For 20 minutes we hung in and did a lot of good things. There were a lot more positives than negatives. In the second half they really got it going. The reason it was close in the first half was because we only had five turnovers and gave up three offensive rebounds. There were nine and nine of each in the second half so those two things totally flipped. Obviously give them credit. They're a great team and had a lot to do with our miscues but we have to get a little better" - head coach Geno Ford.
"For the most part, I thought it was a really good challenge for us, playing against one of, if not the best, team in the country. Going forward, we have to focus on staying locked in for 40 minutes. We have to do a good job of taking what we learned at practice and carry it over to games. As far as my performance, I just want to come in and bring energy to the team, even in the lowest moments. This lets us know that we have a really good chance to play in the tournament and we'll be ready for the conference." - senior forward Omar Habwe.
